Whilst the practice was founded on a broad base, a major specialisation is working in Conservation Areas and with historic buildings. Whether new development or restoration and conversion, we have throughout the years, regularly been involved with the rehabilitation of redundant, underused or derelict buildings and sites, in the countryside and the town.

Our innovative and entrepreneurial approach to projects has given to clients the benefit of a deep commercial understanding, not only meeting cost and programme targets, but also providing highly marketable solutions, with an awareness of and ability to cope with, the most politically sensitive issues.

The sensitivity demonstrated in putting buildings and sites back into successful commercial use and thereby securing their future, has brought a considerable involvement in residential and tourism markets, working with buildings from Tudor to late Victorian and Edwardian periods.
